Hey fans, if you’re using WordPress as a CMS, be sure to keep your eyes open, your versions up to date and install a mechanism to monitor log-in attempts on your site. We’ve seen a dramatic increase in attacks against the WordPress login mechanism in recent weeks. We recommend a log-in logging plug in, email notification to the admin of such failures, and in extreme cases, automated blocking of the offending IP.
